Free Software for Windows

Free software offers something for everyone! For those new to the concept, it may be a big relief to know that it doesn't require you to format your hard drive or commit to a new operating system! Many fantastic free, open source programs have been ported to Windows so you can install them and use them with your current setup. With the realization that in business, computers are a means to an end; a tool with which to accomplish a goal. It's not sufficient to simply evaluate an operating system, the available tools must be evaluated for suitability for the intended purpose.
